Private Equity Business Manager

About the role

The Private Equity Business Manager will lead fund operations, capital activities and strategic projects for the Private Equity department, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison with external fund administrators, overseeing fund accounting, NAV reporting and investor servicing.
• Manage capital call and distribution processes, reviewing investor allocations and coordinating notices.
• Support launch of new private equity funds, coordinating legal, tax, audit and custodial parties.
• Serve as Departmental Compliance Operational Risk Officer, handling risk assessments, control testing and audit readiness.
• Assist in budgeting, expense planning and preparation of management reports and board materials.

Required profile

• 5–8 years experience in private equity fund operations or asset management, with at least 2–3 years in private markets.
• Prior experience with fund administrators, auditors or asset managers and solid understanding of fund structures and lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and Excel skills, and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements and operational risk/compliance frameworks.
