Accountant – Finance (Singapore)

About the role

We are supporting a well‑established international energy trading organisation in Singapore. The Finance function is expanding and seeks an Accountant to manage overhead cost accounting, financial closing, intercompany charges and statutory reporting for the Singapore entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and post overhead cost expenses and related accruals.
• Prepare variance analysis, management reports and support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Handle intercompany recharges, reconciliations and ensure accurate GST and tax reporting.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and provide documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Strong accounting foundation with experience in a trading, commodities, energy or similarly complex business environment.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, detail‑oriented and collaborative across local and regional teams.
• Good communication skills, sound judgement and a practical, hands‑on mindset.
