Accounts Executive – Accounts Receivable

About the role

The Accounts Executive – AR supports the accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate matching of incoming receipts, credit‑card reconciliation and timely posting of payments. The role works closely with the finance team and other hotel departments to keep financial records up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily data transfer within the accounting system.
• Prepare daily and monthly food & beverage and front‑office credit‑card balancing reports.
• Perform monthly credit‑card reconciliation and post payments and commissions.
• Settle website payments daily and ensure timely posting of receipts.
• Reconcile website payments on a monthly basis.
• Sort food & beverage checks for supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely billing to companies.
• Match and post debtor payments and verify travel‑agent commissions.
• Support ad‑hoc assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accountancy (preferred).
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong team player with good written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
