Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Singapore. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing a variety of air‑conditioning systems for our marine industry clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair split, casement and cassette air‑conditioning units.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including filter cleaning, chemical washing and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults, and replace faulty components such as compressors and fan‑coil motors.
• Read technical drawings and assist with system installation and commissioning.
• Respond promptly to service requests, breakdowns and emergency repairs.
• Complete service reports and obtain customer sign‑off after each job.
• Maintain tools, equipment and spare parts in good condition and follow all safety procedures.

Required profile

• NITEC or higher NITEC in Air‑conditioning, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

Required skills

• Air‑conditioning system installation and commissioning.
• Preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
• Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis.
• Component replacement (compressors, fan‑coil motors, etc.).
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Use of hand tools and equipment for HVAC work.
