Assembly Technician / Test Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician / Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role combines hands‑on electro‑mechanical assembly (approximately 80% of the time) with thorough testing and validation of assemblies (approximately 20%). You will work under general supervision, following detailed procedures and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electro‑mechanical assembly operations on complete assemblies or sub‑assemblies.
• Read and interpret complex electro‑mechanical diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Validate design, fabrication and fit‑up of basic electro‑mechanical components.
• Utilise test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
• Enter test results and labor data into a computer terminal.
• Identify, troubleshoot and correct errors in assemblies, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment and follow all safety protocols.
