About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead event sales for our Quebec Experiences portfolio. You will act as the strategic partner for mid‑tier accounts, driving revenue growth and ensuring long‑term client retention.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of mid‑tier accounts, serving as the lead strategic partner.
- Achieve revenue targets by identifying, pitching and closing new business and upsell opportunities.
- Lead end‑to‑end proposal development, from brief interpretation to final presentation.
- Analyze market trends and client competitor landscapes to propose innovative, tech‑integrated or sustainable event solutions.
- Monitor P&L, negotiate contracts (SOWs, MSAs) and protect project margins.
- Provide regular account health and pipeline forecasts to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Creative, Production and Project Management teams to ensure strategic vision is maintained throughout execution.
- Identify and implement process improvements in client onboarding and briefing.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, Hospitality, Tourism or related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in sales, business development or event/brand experience agency environments.
- Proven track record in revenue generation, account management and closing deals.
- Experience managing mid to large‑scale events and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance creativity and commercial outcomes.
Required skills
- Presentation and storytelling capabilities.
- Negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
