Assistant Sales Manager – Hotel Sales

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will support the Director of Sales & Marketing in driving room, event space and hotel service revenue at Pullman Singapore Hill Street. You will generate leads, nurture client relationships and help the hotel maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales targets set by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Make daily sales calls and generate leads for rooms, event spaces and hotel services.
• Monitor, follow up and convert business leads into individual and group bookings.
• Develop new accounts each month, including RFP and LNC accounts.
• Arrange at least three site inspections or entertainment meetings per week with qualified prospects.
• Prepare monthly action plans for main market segments and review corporate account performance.
• Track competitors’ rate strategies and marketing activities.
• Manage accounts in Anais, submit RFPs via Cvent, renew contracts and keep client profiles up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals, group resumes and provide meet‑and‑greet services.
• Upsell and cross‑sell hotel facilities to maximise revenue.
• Attend external client events, briefings, meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to fire, life‑safety and emergency procedures and perform any other reasonable duties assigned.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Willingness to work beyond regular office hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
• Strong awareness of hotel safety and emergency protocols.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Anais property management system.
• Experience using Cvent for RFP management and event sales.
