Associate or Consultant – Indirect Tax (GST)

About the role

Join EY’s leading Goods & Services Tax (GST) practice in Singapore as an Associate or Consultant in Indirect Tax. You will work with a diverse client base, applying technical tax knowledge and advanced tools to ensure accurate GST compliance and identify planning opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review GST returns for clients.
• Conduct GST compliance reviews and respond to queries from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
• Assist in GST advisory services, including due diligence and obtaining GST rulings.
• Support the delivery of GST training and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with team members to improve reporting processes and reduce errors.

Required profile

• Degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting.
• At least 1 year of GST experience for Associate level or 3 years for Consultant level, preferably in a major accounting firm or IRAS.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality work and building client relationships.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Singapore GST regulations.
• Basic IT proficiency.
• Ability to analyze tax data and identify compliance issues.
