Automation Design Engineer (Full machine design)

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Design Engineer to lead the design of complete machine automation solutions, from concept through commissioning and post‑sales support. The role combines technical expertise in mechanical design, CAD modelling, and hands‑on system integration to deliver innovative automation projects for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the key technical expert for designing automation solutions and developing winning sales proposals.
• Own the end‑to‑end technical process, from concept design through commissioning to long‑term post‑sales service and support.
• Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, including system layouts and cost estimates.
• Design automated systems and custom mechanical fixtures or mechanisms using CAD software.
• Create and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, manuals, BOMs, and service records.
• Perform hands‑on integration, including electrical wiring, control panel checks, and robot programming.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 7+ years of experience in full machine design, preferably in automation systems, robotics solutions, fixtures, or related areas.
• Proficiency with multiple CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, CREO7, and Pro‑E.
