Commercial Diver

About the role

The company provides marine industry services such as hull cleaning, propeller polishing, underwater CCTV inspections, and ROV operations. We are looking for a Commercial Diver to carry out underwater inspection, cleaning and equipment maintenance safely and efficiently across vessels and barges.

Key responsibilities

• Perform underwater diving operations including inspection, CCTV surveys, hull cleaning, propeller polishing and blanking on vessels and barges.
• Operate brushkart and polisher equipment effectively during diving tasks.
• Maintain and repair diving equipment to ensure operational readiness before each job.
• Verify that all equipment and spares are functional and sufficient prior to deployment.
• Follow company diving safety protocols and adhere to assigned rosters and quality standards.
• Communicate clearly and follow instructions from lead divers and supervisors.
• Complete additional assignments as required to support the team and operations.

Required profile

• Recognized in‑shore/off‑shore commercial diving CSCUBA/SSDE certificates.
• Certification according to Commercial Diving Competency Standards under SS511.
• Valid diving medical certification and diving/occupational first‑aid certification.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial diving experience (certified divers without experience may be considered for an apprentice role).
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Availability to work odd hours, weekends and public holidays for vessel movements.
