Commercial Manager – Marine Industry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead our marine and offshore business in Singapore. The role will drive revenue growth, develop new market opportunities and strengthen relationships with ship owners, shipyards and offshore operators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand market share and increase revenue.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across marine, offshore and shipping sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, ship managers, shipyards and marine operators.
• Lead negotiations, proposals, quotations, tenders and contract discussions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award and execution.
• Collaborate with technical, operations and project teams to deliver commercially viable solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and customer requirements.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, pipeline and performance reports for management.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development, sales growth and commercial negotiations.
• Experience managing contracts, tenders, quotations and pricing negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of P&L, margins and profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with C‑suite executives, technical teams and procurement stakeholders.
• Leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally as required.
