Construction Manager (Water/Wastewater)

About the role

The Construction Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing the construction and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment facilities across Singapore. This role ensures seamless coordination between design teams, contractors, and consultants while maintaining strict quality, safety, and schedule standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the PM in managing construction and commissioning activities, including processing contractor claims such as progress payments, variations, and extensions of time.
• Coordinate work between the design team and contractors to ensure consistent scheduling, cost control, document control, and implementation of quality‑assurance programmes.
• Review and update contractor schedules, tracking project status and cost performance for all contracts.
• Manage quality‑assurance and safety requirements on site, overseeing the consultant’s site‑supervision team.

Required profile

• Approximately 15 years of construction experience, with at least 10 years managing large water or wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Relevant engineering degree or professional certification.
• Strong supervisory abilities and proven experience in complex plant construction.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 scheduling software (advantageous).
