Construction Site Manager

About the role

Site Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the construction site and ensuring that projects run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to keep the project on schedule.
• Schedule and supervise daily construction activities while managing subcontractors.
• Oversee on‑site work to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Implement safety procedures, conduct safety meetings, and provide PPE training.
• Maintain quality control procedures and promptly address any defects.
• Manage resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labor, and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate daily records, prepare progress reports, and document incidents.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental laws, and obtain necessary permits.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues or delays to keep the project on track.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and stakeholders to address concerns and meet expectations.
• Train and mentor junior site staff on safety practices and construction procedures.
