Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead project teams to deliver construction projects safely, on time, and within budget while meeting quality standards. This role works closely with owners, architects, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe completion of projects within budget and full compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and authority agencies.
• Prepare schedules, track progress, and chair project meetings.
• Manage resources, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers.
• Oversee procurement, subcontracts, claims, and payments with Contracts Manager and QS.
• Handle progress claims, EOT applications, and variation orders.
• Maintain public safety and WSHE compliance on site.
• Control quality to meet project standards and specifications.
• Manage pre‑ and post‑completion activities, including authority submissions and approvals.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 6 years of experience managing local construction projects as a Project Manager.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodology, materials, and contract types (PSSCOC / SIA).
• Demonstrated leadership and planning abilities.
