Country Finance Controller – Manufacturing (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced finance leader to head the Singapore finance function of an established manufacturing business. The role blends financial control, commercial partnering and team leadership, working closely with senior management to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior business leaders to improve financial and operational performance.
• Provide commercial insights on sales, margins, pricing, cash flow and investment proposals.
• Manage planning cycles, including budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Monitor results against targets, highlighting gaps and business risks.
• Own financial closing, management reporting and regional submissions.
• Partner with shared services to ensure accurate, timely financial information.
• Oversee internal controls, tax, audit and compliance requirements.
• Manage working capital, capital expenditure, inventory and fixed‑asset reporting.
• Support finance‑related regulatory matters and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Lead and develop the local finance team.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Chartered Accountant or ACCA qualification.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Prior exposure to a manufacturing or similarly complex operational environment.
• Experience managing and developing finance staff.
• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.

Required skills

• Proficiency with large‑scale ERP platforms.
