Depot HR Officer

About the role

The Depot HR Officer supports the human resources and administrative functions for a transport depot, ensuring smooth processing of employee documentation, benefits, and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and replace employee passes; manage renewals of driving licences, work permits, employment passes and vocational licences.
• Monitor contract renewals for Bus Captains and handle cancellations of work permits and licences upon employee exit.
• Process retirement cases, resignation and termination clearances, and issue employment certification letters.
• Organise orientation programmes and coordinate welfare support such as transport and bereavement arrangements.
• Administer Board of Inquiry proceedings, including appointment of chairperson, panel members and union representatives.
• Coordinate union appeal sessions, update disciplinary records and communicate outcomes.
• Maintain the CPS system and perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant HR or administration experience.
• At least GCE ‘A’ Level, a Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification.
• Organised, meticulous and detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• IHRP certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
