Director of Procurement – Medical Supplies

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy across healthcare‑related categories, ensuring long‑term value creation and supply security.
• Build strong partnerships with key suppliers and negotiate high‑value commercial agreements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, optimise spend, and enhance procurement processes.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to align procurement priorities with business objectives.
• Champion procurement transformation initiatives and embed best practices across the organization.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading procurement, sourcing, or category‑management functions within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries.
• Experience in medical supplies is advantageous.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven success delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and procurement transformation initiatives.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, complex environment.
• Previous experience leading and developing teams.
• Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
