Electrical Project Manager – Hospital Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a government hospital project in Singapore. The role involves overseeing a technical team with strong laboratory and clean‑room installation expertise, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project team using a PDCA (plan‑do‑check‑act) methodology to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Develop and maintain the master schedule, ISO Quality Plan, OSHA Safety Plan, risk mitigation strategy, and budget.
• Oversee installation methods, drive efficiency, and implement cost‑saving improvements.
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and customers, negotiating variations as required.
• Coordinate site staff and subcontractors to ensure safety compliance and daily communication.
• Guide and train junior staff, proactively resolving site issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a managerial or project‑manager role.
• 8‑10 years of installation and project management experience (mechanical/electrical) on contracts ranging from $10 M to $100 M.
• Strong background in lab, clean‑room, chiller, data‑centre or hospital installations.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and a Building Construction Safety Supervisor certification.
• Preferably contractor‑side experience with strong technical coordination across disciplines.
