English Editor – Academic Publishing (Singapore)

About the role

MDPI is seeking a meticulous English Editor to support scholars in preparing their manuscripts for publication. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with the Editorial and Production teams to ensure every article meets the publisher’s high linguistic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Edit scholarly articles to a publication‑ready standard, improving clarity, consistency, and grammar while preserving the author’s voice.
• Apply MDPI’s house rules and style guidelines to all manuscripts.
• Meet tight deadlines and maintain high accuracy across a steady workflow.
• Collaborate with editorial staff and assist in training colleagues.
• Contribute to editing of corporate material when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Expert knowledge of English language and academic writing conventions.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Right to work in Singapore.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LaTeX.
