About the role

Brighton College Singapore is seeking an inspirational and experienced Teacher of French and Spanish to join its Senior School from August 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality language instruction and contributing to a vibrant modern languages programme as the school expands into an all‑through institution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons across the Senior School, ensuring all pupils make excellent progress.
• Teach and support pupils preparing for IGCSE French (starting Year 11) and A‑Level French (starting Year 12).
• Collaborate with the Head of MFL to teach and support Key Stage 3 Spanish.
• Provide guidance for Sixth Form students interested in languages, international studies, or related university courses.
• Contribute to a rich co‑curricular French programme, including language clubs, cultural events, and enrichment activities.
• Organise and support language competitions, exchanges, and cultural events for senior pupils.

Required profile

• Inspirational teacher with proven experience teaching French and Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to engage, challenge, and support diverse learners.
• Experience with IGCSE and A‑Level curricula.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work closely with the Head of MFL and other staff.
• Passion for languages, cultural activities, and extracurricular enrichment.
