Enterprise Risk Management Specialist (PFA)

About the role

Prudential is hiring an Enterprise Risk Management Specialist (PFA) who reports to the Head of Risk and Compliance. The role provides a holistic enterprise risk perspective while maintaining domain-specific risk and compliance oversight and assurance across technology, data and third party/outsourcing risk, ensuring robust risk and compliance frameworks are implemented across the Company.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure alignment with group compliance and risk frameworks and advise business units on compliance issues, regulatory requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain and execute the annual compliance plan.
• Exercise oversight on third party and outsourcing risk, including supporting and coordinating independent assurance reviews of outsourced activities by intragroup entities.
• Review and reassess the scope of outsourcing arrangements, define, monitor and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for outsourcing and third-party risk.
• Provide independent challenge and assurance on technology, cyber and data risks from a second line perspective, and monitor and report IT/data risk issues, incidents and remediation status to governance forums.
• Conduct risk-based reviews, risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) and control testing to validate control design and effectiveness.
• Support projects, reviews and initiatives as directed by the Head of Risk and Compliance.

Required profile

• 5-8 years' experience in risk and/or compliance roles.
• Experience in regulated financial institutions or insurance, with exposure to the Financial Advisers sector, regulatory compliance and risk management highly valued.
• Degree in any discipline; relevant professional qualifications in risk or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as the MAS Guidelines on outsourcing, technology risk and other relevant regulations, and risk governance frameworks.
• Experience in third-party, technology and data risk assurance reviews.
