Equipment Support Technician

About the role

HRnetOne is hiring an Equipment Support Technician in Singapore. The role covers hands-on assembly, testing and repair of equipment, including electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic and vacuum systems, in a cleanroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Read and apply work orders, technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to complete assembly tasks correctly
• Run tests on electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic and vacuum systems using the appropriate testing tools and fixtures
• Build and fix equipment at the unit, subassembly and component level
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs to keep systems running
• Verify that incoming parts and materials are complete and meet quality requirements
• Work hands-on with instruments such as measurement devices, vacuum pumps, leak detectors and test rigs
• Log work activity accurately, covering job status, test outcomes, data entry and labour hours
• Help with light programming tasks such as software installs and equipment fixes when needed
• Work with a good degree of independence and mentor junior colleagues when needed

Required profile

• NITEC or Diploma qualification
• No prior experience necessary; open to entry-level applicants
• Comfortable doing physical, technical work in a cleanroom setting
• Able to stand for long periods, lift and work in tight or enclosed spaces
• Willing to work with PPE and a variety of tools and measurement equipment
