Finance Executive – General Ledger (GL) – Singapore

About the role

Clarins Group is seeking a Finance Executive to manage General Ledger (GL) accounting and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reporting for its Asia Pacific operations based in Singapore. You will ensure financial integrity, support system efficiency, and uphold regulatory compliance while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain GL accounting and HFM reporting, covering bank, fixed assets, inventory, leases, payroll, and local tax filings.
• Prepare and monitor monthly accruals, provisions, and adjustment journals for all business channels.
• Reconcile and clear GL accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Track and match intercompany transactions, including recharge invoices and settlements.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet schedules and related reports for managerial review.
• Act as R2R key user, resolve system interface issues, support APAC best‑practice implementation, and participate in UAT for system enhancements.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes, applying standardized principles to daily workflows.
• Collaborate with the Order‑to‑Cash team on balance‑sheet reconciliations and support auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of GL/R2R accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, luxury retail, beauty or cosmetics.
• Experience in an audit or professional accounting firm is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and basic corporate tax requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
