Financial Controller – REIT (Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the financial reporting, accounting and control environment for a Singapore‑listed REIT and its underlying entities. The role will partner closely with the CFO, CEO, investment and asset‑management teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly and annual financial close and reporting processes.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS(I) and SGX listing requirements.
• Manage consolidation across Singapore and international entities and produce management reports and financial analysis.
• Oversee quarterly and annual results announcements, annual reports and Board/Audit & Risk Committee reporting.
• Supervise cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity management, financing arrangements and debt‑related reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GST, corporate income tax, withholding tax and other Singapore tax regulations.
• Maintain a robust financial control framework, identify and mitigate reporting and operational risks.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and coordinate the annual audit.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably within a Singapore‑listed REIT, real‑estate company or Big Four firm.
• Hands‑on experience with SGX reporting, SFRS(I) consolidation and technical accounting.
• Knowledge of investment property accounting, valuations and real‑estate transactions.
• Experience with acquisitions, disposals, refinancing or capital‑raising activities.
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Previous team leadership or management experience.
