Financial Services Assurance Digital Innovation Garage Internship

About the role

Join PwC’s Financial Services Assurance practice as part of the Digital Innovation Garage (DIG) team. You will help build data‑driven, automated solutions that enhance audit quality for leading asset management, banking, capital markets and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior team members in gathering business and data requirements, performing data analysis and testing for data strategy and roadmap projects.
• Assist with technology and data solution assessments, providing recommendations.
• Contribute to digital solution building using Python, SQL, Excel (VBA), Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Design and develop data‑cleansing routines, including standardisation, transformation, linking and matching.
• Help deploy global audit tools across the Financial Services Assurance practice.
• Explore generative AI, large language models and AI‑assisted development to automate workflows and solve audit‑related problems.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems or Software Development.
• Interest in programming, data analytics and emerging AI technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, technology‑focused environment.
