Freelance 2D Designer for Global Brands (APAC)

About the role

Orchid is seeking a Freelance 2D Designer based anywhere in the APAC region to join its international team on a project basis. You will collaborate with designers, strategists, copywriters, illustrators and motion designers to create compelling visual stories for leading tech, gaming and innovation brands.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret client briefs and develop concepts from start to finish.
• Create high‑impact 2D assets, graphics, and layouts that align with brand goals.
• Translate briefs into clear visual narratives and ensure consistency across deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools and techniques to keep work fresh.
• Estimate delivery timelines, manage budgets and meet high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in graphic design, branding or art direction.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding and marketing assets for digital and print.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to work independently and lead projects.
• Comfortable handling multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
