Freight Forwarding HR Manager

About the role

Centrum Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all human‑resource functions for its Singapore office, supporting a growing air and sea freight forwarding business. The role combines strategic HR leadership with hands‑on execution across recruitment, employee relations and payroll.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of HR activities for the Singapore office.
• Lead recruitment for freight forwarding, operations, sales, commercial and corporate positions.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with Singapore regulations.
• Oversee onboarding, performance reviews, leave administration, benefits and employee relations.
• Support manpower planning and organisational development for operational and commercial teams.
• Coordinate payroll‑related matters and keep accurate employee records.
• Promote a strong company culture and support an international workforce.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in air freight, sea freight, logistics or international transportation.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding and logistics environments.
• Good knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and HR practices.
• Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll coordination and HR administration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and establish effective HR processes.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Russian language capability is a plus.
