Full Stack Software Engineer (Content Processing)

About the role

CSIT is building next‑generation analytical platforms to accelerate threat detection for Singapore's national security. As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will create intelligent automation and AI‑powered features that turn high‑volume data streams into actionable insights for analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimise scalable web applications and high‑performance APIs using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or Java.
• Integrate AI patterns such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, autonomous agents and LLM‑driven conversational interfaces into production.
• Design robust data solutions with MongoDB and Elasticsearch, extending them with vector search and embedding strategies.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud‑native services to ensure resilience and uptime.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, data engineers and product managers to deliver high‑quality digital experiences.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field with proven hands‑on software development experience.
• Experience building dynamic, responsive user interfaces with React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven ability to create secure, efficient RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Express.js, Fastify, FastAPI or Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with data persistence and search layers using MongoDB, Redis or Elasticsearch.
