Global Materials Sourcing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a 12‑month Fixed‑term Global Materials Sourcing Specialist to lead low‑cost country sourcing for manufactured materials worldwide. The role will integrate Free Trade Agreement (FTA) rules to optimise import duties, landed costs and overall savings across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute end‑to‑end low‑cost country sourcing strategies for materials across all regions, leveraging applicable FTAs.
• Consolidate global supplier bases, expand coverage, and conduct benchmarking, cost analysis and tariff evaluations.
• Develop and document standardized sourcing processes, supplier governance rules and FTA documentation workflows.
• Track project progress, compile savings data (including duty savings), and deliver regular leadership reports.
• Resolve cross‑regional collaboration barriers and embed consistent FTA compliance standards.
• Transfer fully documented sourcing and FTA workflows to BU buyers at the end of the term.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Procurement, International Trade or a related field.
• 2–5 years of procurement experience with cross‑border low‑cost country sourcing for global categories.
• Practical exposure to FTA implementation and knowledge of hotel/resort product specifications is a plus.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi‑regional teams across NAM, SAM, EMEA and APAC.
