Head of Finance – Travel Planning Division

About the role

The Head of Finance for UOB Travel Planners will lead financial planning, performance analysis and strategic decision support for the travel business. Reporting to senior leadership, the role partners with Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology and Business leaders to drive growth, manage risk and optimise profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reviews with the Head of Travel and function leaders, presenting leading indicators and risk/opportunity insights.
• Maintain disciplined expense management processes and monitor business profitability.
• Drive strategic projects, coordinate key initiatives and ensure timely delivery of management information reports.
• Develop processes and metrics to improve accountability and execution across functions.
• Support ongoing planning by identifying new revenue sources and managing projects to measurable results.
• Create business presentations and market reviews, analysing trends with cross‑functional input.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing winning strategies using financial and commercial data.
• Strong customer focus with ability to anticipate needs and improve existing business.
• Ability to drive innovation, change and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Understanding of operational and technology solutions that impact client value.
