Head of Human Resources – Southeast Asia Scale‑up

About the role

Our client, a European private‑equity backed logistics scale‑up, is establishing its APAC headquarters in Singapore and needs a senior HR leader to build the people function from the ground up. You will shape HR strategy for a fast‑growing organization that aims to reach 100 employees within the next 4‑5 years.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and scale HR policies, systems and frameworks across Southeast Asian operations.
• Lead learning and development strategy, creating training programmes that boost leadership, technical and functional capabilities.
• Build career pathways, succession plans and talent development initiatives to ensure a sustainable leadership pipeline.
• Develop and institutionalise performance‑management frameworks that drive accountability and reward high performance.
• Partner with senior leadership on organisational development, cultural integration and change‑management initiatives.
• Establish employee‑engagement strategies to improve retention, inclusivity and alignment with company values.
• Monitor HR metrics, workforce analytics and talent KPIs to measure impact and advise strategic actions.
• Serve as the primary HR business partner to senior management, providing coaching, advisory and thought‑leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regional employment regulations while creating policies suited for rapid scale.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of HR leadership experience with regional exposure in Asia.
• Proven expertise in training & development, organisational development and performance management.
• Track record of building HR structures, frameworks and policies in unstructured or growth‑stage environments.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and influencing skills, comfortable advising senior leadership.
• Experience driving change‑management, cultural transformation and employee‑engagement initiatives.
• Background in industries with operational complexity and diverse regional workforces is a strong plus.
