HR Generalist / HR Specialist (Singapore)

About the role

MetaComp is seeking an HR Generalist / HR Specialist to manage the full employee lifecycle and support people operations across its fast‑growing Singapore office. The role is hands‑on, covering HR operations, employee relations, performance management and compliance in a high‑growth fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, including onboarding, probation confirmation, transfers, promotions, internal movements and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and personnel documentation in line with company policies and Singapore employment regulations.
• Prepare HR letters, employment documentation and other correspondence, and partner with payroll to ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, processes and people‑related matters, supporting employee‑relations cases and performance, attendance and disciplinary issues.
• Coordinate the performance‑management cycle, including probation reviews, performance reviews and improvement plans, and keep related records up to date.
• Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, employee handbooks and internal guidelines, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
• Assist with HR audits, provide required documentation and stay informed on relevant employment law and best practices.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in HR generalist or specialist roles, preferably within a fast‑growing or technology‑focused organization.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
