Income Auditor – Hospitality Cluster

About the role

The Income Auditor will support Sunset Hospitality Group’s Singapore cluster, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of all income streams across hotels, restaurants and other venues. This role combines detailed transaction posting, cash handling oversight and month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Post verified data into the accounting system with correct coding and categorisation.
• Conduct cash audits, reconciling receipts with sales reports and enforcing cash‑handling procedures.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing tasks and prepare related ledger schedules.
• Reconcile cash, credit‑card, city‑ledger, Stripe, advances and other payment transactions for accuracy.
• Identify, investigate and document any discrepancies, unusual or potentially fraudulent transactions.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly income and revenue reports for management review.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase audit efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong bookkeeping knowledge, including debits, credits, journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing large volumes of financial data.
• Analytical ability to spot trends, patterns and potential issues.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
• Understanding of relevant financial regulations and internal‑control standards.
