IT Solution Architect – OpenStack

About the role

You will design, implement, automate, and maintain a reliable, scalable OpenStack infrastructure for a Singapore‑wide operation. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will ensure platform availability, security, performance, and operational efficiency while exploring AI‑driven automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Red Hat OpenStack‑based cloud solutions.
• Develop and optimise automation scripts for OpenStack provisioning and management.
• Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes, OpenShift and other enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot complex OpenStack component and infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance.
• Participate in capacity planning, performance optimisation and scalability efforts.
• Manage change‑control activities for platform upgrades, hot‑fixes and routine SysAdmin tasks.
• Explore and implement Agentic AI and AIOps solutions to enhance monitoring, incident analysis and remediation.
• Develop AI agents that interact with OpenStack APIs using Python, Ansible or Terraform.
• Mentor junior team members and author system documentation.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenStack, Kubernetes and Red Hat Linux administration.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware ESX, Prometheus, Elastic Stack and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI and AIOps concepts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.
