About the role

The Key Account Manager will own and develop strategic relationships with key OEM customers, acting as the primary commercial and coordination interface. You will drive sustainable, profitable growth and ensure excellent customer service across the full account lifecycle, while also managing growth through a focused portfolio of distributors in South East Asia.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and develop key OEM accounts, building long‑term relationships with procurement, planning, quality and technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with regional and global teams on account strategy, pricing and solution positioning.
  • Drive annual order intake and revenue growth, including sales through distributor channels.
  • Lead end‑to‑end sales processes: identify opportunities, align technical and commercial solutions, steer negotiations and secure orders.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer applications and translate needs into appropriate Leybold solutions.
  • Proactively coordinate with engineering, service, logistics and product teams to resolve technical, quality and delivery issues.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, CRM pipeline management and reporting while orchestrating internal coordination across customer service, supply chain, finance and manufacturing.

Required profile

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Several years of experience in a key account, sales or commercial role within an industrial, technical or B2B environment, preferably serving OEM or multinational customers.
  • Proven track record managing complex customer relationships and understanding decision‑making processes.

Required skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills to interact confidently with engineers, planners, buyers and senior executives.
