Lab Technician – HPLC (1‑year contract, up to SGD 2500)

About the role

We are seeking a fresh‑entry level Lab Technician to join a science‑focused multinational on a 1‑year contract. The role involves performing stability testing and chemical analyses using a range of analytical instruments in a regulated laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct stability placement, retrieve samples from CTCH chambers and manage data.
• Perform chemical analyses for product stability, R&D and quality investigations using HPLC, GC, FTIR and an Autotitrator.
• Test parameters such as Piroctone Olamine, Zinc Pyrithione, Menthol, Fatty Acids, Glycerine, Triclocarban and Salicylic Acid on raw, intermediate and finished products.
• Prepare samples, standards, buffers and mobile phases; support ad‑hoc FTIR and C2PM3 analyses.
• Document results in the Electronic Lab Notebook and upload data to the LIMS (NEXUS) system.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and ensure proper operation of laboratory equipment, reporting issues to equipment owners.
• Follow safety protocols, keep the lab clean, manage chemical inventory and support audit readiness.
• Assist investigations of out‑of‑specification (OOS) results and maintain a compliant work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Sciences or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with HPLC and GC techniques.
