Legal Consultant – Commercial Contracts (Japanese Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Consultant – Commercial Contracts (Japanese Speaker) to support Fortune 500 clients, providing remote legal services focused on the Japanese market.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients remotely and provide legal support focusing on the Japanese market.
• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including creative, advertising, digital marketing, procurement, technology and partnership deals.
• Develop, implement, and advise on commercial marketplace contracts, terms and conditions of sale, distribution agreements and related policies.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 4 years of experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Prior work experience in Japan is a plus.
• Japanese legal qualification preferred but candidates from any jurisdiction are considered.
• Ability to write and draft in both Japanese and English.
