Banking and Finance Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Junior‑Mid level Associate to join our Banking and Finance practice in Singapore, working within a global law firm that serves leading corporations and financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on a full spectrum of banking and finance matters, including acquisition finance, asset‑based lending, fund finance, real estate finance and structured trade finance.
• Participate in both cross‑border and domestic transactions for senior lenders, mezzanine lenders, private credit funds, multinational corporates and borrowers across South East Asia and the Asia‑Pacific.
• Draft and review financing agreements under English law and Singapore law, ensuring commercial viability and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 2+ years post‑qualification experience (UK equivalent PQE) in banking and finance.
• Qualified in Singapore, England & Wales or an equivalent common‑law jurisdiction.
• Strong legal drafting, case management and organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
