Logistic Specialist – Import / Export

About the role

The Logistic Specialist – Import / Export will manage the end‑to‑end movement of goods across borders, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery. This role supports the semiconductor manufacturing operations by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international customs and trade regulations.
• Apply for and maintain all relevant import and export licenses and permits.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other required documents.
• Oversee shipping‑related billing and payment processes, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely financial transactions.
• Maintain an organized document control system for shipping and logistics records.
• Coordinate shipping schedules and transportation arrangements with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and other service providers.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and other logistics issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a STEM‑related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in import and export operations, shipping documentation, logistics, or procurement.
• Experience in procurement processes within the semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, resilient with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
