Manufacturing Lead

About the role

The Manufacturing Lead is responsible for directing all manufacturing activities, including production, industrial engineering, and warehouse functions. The role ensures that production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead production teams to maximize daily output and on‑time delivery.
• Maintain 6S discipline and enforce zero‑quality‑accident standards.
• Prepare production schedules based on customer demand and manage WIP and finished‑goods flow.
• Generate periodic reports on WIP status and output for management.
• Optimize resource deployment – manpower, raw materials, and equipment – to meet business needs.
• Provide training and guidance to line personnel in collaboration with engineering and other internal teams.
• Establish procedures and document controls to satisfy quality system requirements and support internal/external audits.
• Lead investigations on quality, safety, or other issues and produce 8D or equivalent reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Hands‑on experience in high‑volume manufacturing, preferably semiconductor or advanced packaging.
• Proven track record in production management, capacity and manpower planning, productivity and yield improvement, and cost reduction.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, SPC, OEE, process control, quality systems, FMEA, OCAP, and 8D problem‑solving.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and foster a culture of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
