About the role
The Nurse Clinician leads patient care activities on the ward, ensuring resources are used optimally and care is high‑quality, safe and cost‑efficient. The role also involves supervising nursing staff and upholding professional standards and ethics.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all patient‑care activities within the ward.
- Ensure optimal use of resources while maintaining high‑quality, safe and cost‑efficient care.
- Supervise nurses’ clinical patient‑care activities.
- Uphold professional standards and codes of ethics among the nursing team.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Nursing; postgraduate qualifications in Gerontology, Orthopaedic, Neuroscience, Palliative Care or Community Nursing are preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of hospital experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Valid Registered Nurse practising certificate issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and willingness to work rotating shifts across two SingHealth Community Hospital sites.
