Physical Security Specialist - Data Center Red Teaming

About the role

Control Risks is hiring a consultant for an embedded project with a top-tier technology client, based in Singapore. The consultant will travel to the client's facilities across the Asia Pacific region to carry out onsite operational security assessments and red teaming of data center facilities, interviewing stakeholders and assessing sites against existing security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on-site physical intrusion red team assessments to test the client's physical security response plans.
• Interview security stakeholders to determine the operational security practices at each facility.
• Carry out covert assessments of technical security infrastructure, including access control, video surveillance and communications networks.
• Collect and present findings clearly and consistently, and give clear recommendations on security policies and practices.
• Share knowledge with the firm, improve document templates and methodology, and deliver high-quality reports.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in physical security assessments for a global security organization, consulting firm or major corporation.
• 1+ year of experience planning and conducting red team exercises; able to learn and grow in red team assessments.
• Ability to travel internationally 30-50% of the time and on short notice.
• Flexibility with work schedule and peaks in workload, and strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems.
• Understanding of defense-in-depth, standard operating procedures and incident management.
• Ability to write quality reports and present findings professionally.
