Intern, Global Security Operations, Southeast Asia (Jan-Jun 2027)

About the role

The Walt Disney Company is hiring a full-time, office-based Global Security Operations Intern for its Singapore office, covering the Southeast Asia (SEA) region from January to June 2027. The intern works alongside experienced security professionals on security operations, threat monitoring and corporate resilience, applying academic principles to real-world risk scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Operational security: support the SEA Operations team in executing security protocols for high-profile events, talent visits and executive protection details, and ensure compliance with global security standards
• Process and SOPs: analyse workflows, help draft and update Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines, and refine team methodologies with regional managers
• Reporting and data: compile weekly/monthly metrics, incident trackers and risk assessments, and help prepare executive presentation decks
• APAC Security Control Center (ASCC) exposure: shadow ASCC staff on access control, CCTV monitoring and facility protection, learn incident triage, welfare checks and accountability tracking, and understand how security logs feed analytics and dashboards
• Special projects: support internal communications such as newsletters and media repositories, and help plan regional security events and awareness campaigns
• Capstone project: plan, manage and run one local Security Operations event end-to-end

Required profile

• Undergraduate currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, still studying during the internship
• Available Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm, full-time and on-site for the entire period, with start and end dates and expected graduation date stated in the resume
• Degree in Security Management, Public Safety & Security, Risk Management or a related discipline
• Excellent written and spoken English, discretion with confidential data, and a genuine interest in Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic brands

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Data analysis and reporting, including data visualization or security tracking platforms (a plus)
