QC Technician

About the role

The Quality Control (QC) Technician will conduct surveillance testing and evaluation of sealants, manage sample coordination with manufacturers, and ensure products meet full conformance standards before shipment. This onsite position reports directly to the Quality Manager and supports the company's quality management system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform surveillance tests and evaluate sealant performance.
• Arrange samples, communicate with manufacturers, and conduct full conformance testing.
• Prepare test reports, certify results, and release products for shipment.
• Handle all QC duties, including incoming material testing, process testing, and analysis.
• Maintain laboratory equipment inventory and perform preventive maintenance.
• Conduct quality checks on multiple coating products.
• Develop coating formulas using spectrophotometer or other colour‑matching techniques, blend, spray, and adjust as needed.
• Support QMS compliance, create procedures and work instructions.
• Follow laboratory safety rules, risk assessments, and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Manage calibration of measuring equipment and assist QA Engineer with audits and complaint investigations.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC or equivalent in chemical science, chemical engineering, chemistry, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year experience in aerospace, chemical industry, or laboratory environment.
• Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control is a plus.
• No colour‑blindness.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong report‑writing and record‑keeping abilities.
• High energy, initiative‑driven, and a team player.
