QS Contracts Manager – Building & Infrastructure

About the role

The client, a long‑standing Singapore developer, seeks an experienced QS Contracts Manager to lead tender and cost‑management activities for building and infrastructure projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret tender requirements and develop strategic cost plans.
• Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Coordinate collaborative planning and define the scope of works.
• Ensure timely execution of all tender‑related activities.
• Review quotations against specifications and verify quantities.
• Cross‑check items to identify any overlooked components.
• Proofread tender responses, highlighting quantity issues and ensuring accurate issuance to stakeholders.
• Assess cost impacts of value‑engineering proposals and variations.
• Conduct detailed quantity take‑offs for commercial projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of QS experience in built‑environment or commercial projects.
• Proficiency with cost estimation software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Willingness to work on projects located in the eastern part of Singapore (Changi, Tampines, Expo).
• Ability to work a standard five‑day week.
