C&S Engineer – Structural Design (Consultancy)

About the role

The C&S Engineer will perform structural analysis, design and engineering calculations for building and infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role involves preparing drawings and technical reports, coordinating with architects, M&E consultants and contractors, and supporting projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design and engineering calculations for building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Develop designs in accordance with Singapore Standards, Eurocodes and relevant codes.
• Coordinate with architects, M&E consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support projects from concept and detailed design through to construction, attending site meetings and providing technical support.
• Liaise with clients and authorities on design, submission and technical matters.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Assist with tender documentation, cost estimates and technical proposals when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant structural design experience, preferably with a consultancy.
• Experience with reinforced concrete and steel building structures.
• Familiarity with Singapore Standards, Eurocodes and local authority submission requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in structural analysis/design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE or similar.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; BIM/Revit experience is an advantage.
