Recruiter – Commercial People Team

About the role

The Commercial People Team at Shopee is responsible for hiring top talent across a wide range of commercial functions. As a Recruiter you will manage end‑to‑end recruitment, partner with hiring managers, and represent Shopee’s brand throughout the candidate journey.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for commercial functions, including Business Analysts, Business Intelligence, Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, and Product Managers.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, advise on market trends, and define recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and campus outreach.
• Screen and assess candidates for strong role fit and culture alignment.
• Coordinate interviews and provide timely updates to candidates and stakeholders.
• Conceptualise, drive and evaluate talent recruitment initiatives that improve team objectives, productivity and development.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data and reports to track progress and hiring metrics.
• Represent Shopee’s brand and culture in all candidate interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with relevant recruitment work experience or internships.
• Passion for people, organisational, and cultural transformation.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with independent decision‑making abilities and excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, able to quickly evaluate situations and combine business judgement with people intuition.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Team player and resourceful with a positive can‑do attitude.
• Strong understanding of regional talent markets is a plus.
• Experience in regional roles or large technology companies and working with senior stakeholders is a plus.
