Regional Senior Tax Advisor (Assistant Manager/Manager)

About the role

We are seeking a tax professional with strong fundamentals, problem‑solving ability and learning agility to become a regional tax advisor for subsidiaries across the Asia‑Pacific region. The role works closely with local finance teams and external advisors to ensure tax compliance, manage risk and support business projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and monitor corporate income tax, VAT/GST and other tax compliance matters for subsidiaries across APAC.
• Identify and resolve tax issues, supporting local finance teams and tracking regulatory developments.
• Conduct periodic tax risk reviews, develop governance frameworks and standardised tax management guidelines.
• Assist subsidiaries during tax audits, authority inquiries and dispute resolution, coordinating with external advisors.
• Provide tax support for new business initiatives, cross‑border transactions and regional tax projects.
• Promote tax awareness, share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement within the Asia Tax Centre.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in taxation, accounting or finance, preferably in a multinational or Big‑4 environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to apply tax regulations to business situations.
• Business‑level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel internationally across the Asia‑Pacific region as required.
