About the role
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTU seeks a Research Fellow to support the development of simulation models for coastal infrastructure such as seawalls and dikes, contributing to a sustainable built environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop simulation models for coastal infrastructure.
- Conduct laboratory‑scale tests and validate models with field data.
- Publish research findings in top‑tier journals.
- Prepare research proposals and supervise students.
Required profile
- PhD in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least one year of experience in machine learning and structural health monitoring.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines.
