Sales Manager / Assistant Sales Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Sales Manager / Assistant Sales Manager drives hotel revenue by developing new business, nurturing client relationships, and executing sales strategies across corporate, leisure, and group segments. You will act as the face of the Accor brand, promoting the property to existing, potential, and former clients.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the hotel and Accor brand to clients within assigned market segments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, travel agents, event planners, and other partners.
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, sales calls, and market research.
• Conduct site inspections, sales presentations, and client meetings to showcase facilities and services.
• Achieve individual and departmental revenue targets, including room nights, ADR, occupancy, and event revenue.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and rate agreements in compliance with hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activity in hotel systems.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Front Office, Events, Revenue Management, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Respond promptly to client enquiries, feedback, and complaints.
• Participate in sales missions, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates.
• Support onboarding, coaching, and development of junior sales team members where applicable.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience for Assistant Sales Manager role or 5 years for Sales Manager role, preferably in hospitality.
• Proven track record in business development and achieving revenue targets.
